An experienced dynamic design manager seeking their next
move, with a strategic approach is required to push the
product forward for this successful retailer. Overseeing
the design team, working with the creative director you
must be able to translate vision and fulfil design briefs
whilst also developing and strengthening the team.
Management experience is key, along with excellent trend
awareness, experience of working with multi product
ladies wear and the ability to identify key shapes and
colours for the coming season. You must have substantial
design experience, have managed a team and be able to work
to strict deadlines. An extensive portfolio showing an
eye for detail reflecting previous experience is essential
along with good presentation and communication skills.
Job responsibilities include:
Develop a range plan Development of seasonal themes, concepts and trends Motivate and manage the design team Product development, sample co-ordination and approval
The ideal candidate must have either UK equivalent graduate
level education or at least 3 years full time experience
equivalent to NVQ Level 3 in a similar role.
